Bonnie Lavern Hickey, age 79 of Searcy, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Searcy. She was born Aug. 5, 1937 in Gregory, Ark., to Kenneth Trebern Clement and Mary Lucille Lockhart Clement. Bonnie was a dedicated caregiver to her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dan "Nick" Hickey; two sons, Tony Hickey and wife Donna of McRae, Kenneth Hickey and wife Rebecca of Searcy; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Clement; and mother, Mary Goree and husband Waymon. Visitation will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.

Dan Nickles "Nick" Hickey, age 85 of Searcy, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Searcy. He was born February 25, 1935 in Hartman, Arkansas to Virgil Morrow and Helen Hickey. Nick and his wife Bonnie owned and operated Nick's 66 Station in Searcy for many years. He is survived by two sons, Tony Hickey and wife Donna of McRae, Kenneth Hickey and wife Rebecca of Searcy; four grandchildren, Michael Lynn Hickey of Dallas, Texas, Jason Hickey of Heber Springs, Nicole Zentz of Searcy, Shannon Marshall and husband Ryan of Beebe; nine great-grandchildren, Jaylynn Hickey of Pangburn, Ivorie Hickey of Searcy, Anna Belle Stout of Beebe, Amber Zentz of Searcy, Carlie Zentz of Searcy, Tessah Hickey of Heber Springs, Porter Hickey of Dallas, Parker Marshall of Beebe, Brooklyn Marshall of Beebe; two great-great-grandchildren, Atlas Blanton of Pangburn, Aries Blagg of Pangburn; and two sisters, Florabelle Warren of Hartman, and Katherine Breedlove and husband Fred of Hartman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Marrow and Helen Hickey; wife, Bonnie Hickey; and nine siblings, Jeneva, Novella, Lorene, Marie, Kalvin, Donald, Troy, Otis, and Cecil.
Visitation will be Friday starting at 12:00 at Powell Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Gum Springs Cemetery.
