Mary Leoda Yarbrough, 88 of Searcy passed away February 7, 2018 in Searcy. She was born in Antioch on April 30, 1929 to the late Daniel and Girtie Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband C.J. "Tuffy" Yarbrough, a daughter Danna Corbitt, four sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her sons Rodney Yarbrough of Eureka Springs, Jerry Yarbrough (Karen) of Mesquite, Nevada; grandchildren Miranda Peebles, Angie Woodle, Che' Sherrill, Regan Clayton, Sache Crouch, Calvin Corbitt, Brandi Cash, Brooke Sherrow; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary is best known for her story telling, nurturing nature, her strong faith, gardening and singing. She exuded kindness, tenderness and class. She was also one of the founding members of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 11AM-1PM, Monday February 12, 2018 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, with a Graveside Service following at 2:00 PM at Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy.

In lieu of flowers send donations to St Jude Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
