Born in Lodi, N.J., he lived here several years. Mr. Raia was owner and operator of Raia and Sons Concrete Co. in Searcy and Dewitt. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He was a firefighter for Gum Springs Fire Department. He was a member of Searcy Bulders Association.

Surviving are his wife, Chaterine; three sons, Craig of Kensett, Carl John and Daniel, both of Searcy; his mother, Mary Raia of Lodi; two brother, John and Thomas, both of Lodi; and a granddaughterl

Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, 411 E. Race Ave., Searcy, is in charge of arrangements.
