When Amanda E “Mandy” Hensley was born on February 12, 1885, in Pangburn, Arkansas, her father, Thomas, was 33, and her mother, Arilda, was 25. She had one son with Pleasant Moss JENKINS. She then married Joseph "Joe" Franklin Porter on October 22, 1911. She died as a young mother on October 22, 1911, in her hometown, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
