Ron Lawrence, 79, of Cherokee Village, AR, died on October 31, 2021. Born at Sylamore, AR, on October 12, 1942, he was the son of George Preston and Effie Elizabeth Wallis Lawrence.

He was a prior business owner of Economy Movers in Batesville, AR, and a disabled army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting guns, and promoting the God-given constitutional rights of all American citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Lawrence of Cherokee Village; sister, Jackie Wood of Jacksonville, AR; stepdaughter, Karen Narramore of Batesville, AR; seven nieces and nephews, Steven “Duke” Dunegan of Batesville, AR; Gilbert Moser of Jacksonville, AR, Sherry Goldsworthy of Jacksonville, AR, Shannon Oswell of Alabama, Lisa Blackwell of Alabama, Robert Bates of Alabama, and Joe Bates of Alabama; as well as step-grandchildren, Tyler Fields of Batesville, AR and Joshua Narramore of Batesville, AR.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Jo Bates and Lois Dunegan; brother, Danny Lawrence; and niece, Becky Moore.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 10 a.m.
