Rita Carol Jackson, 61, of Bald Knob, passed away on October 19, 2016, peacefully at her home. She was born February 26, 1955 in Plainview to Billy Joe and Dollie Reed. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Grover Jackson of Bald Knob; son, Michael Jackson and wife Valerie of Velvet Ridge; daughter, Crystal (Jackson) Skaggs and husband Shawn of Bald Knob; mother, Dollie Reed of Searcy; 3 sisters, Brenda Woodle, Linda Brown and Julie Britton; 2 brothers, Randy Reed and Jim Reed. Rita was a loving grandmother to 12 grankids and 4 great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Reed and a nephew, Timothy Joe Reed. She will be missed by many friends and family members.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Plainview by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
