Rev. Gladys J. Woods, age 94 of Searcy, departed this life to be with her dear Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Judsonia. She was born April 23, 1918 in Hyannis, Nebraska, the daughter of Arthur Woten and Josephine Johnson Woten. Gladys (an Ordained Assembly of God minister since 1946) and her husband Elvies (also a minister) have pioneered and pastured churches in Arkansas and California. She is survived by one son, Samuel Woods and wife Charlotte of San Luis Obisbo, California; and two daughters, Martha Woods of Benton, Arkansas Marilyn McCrystal of Judsonia; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Josephine Woten; husband of 51 years, Elvies Woods; three sons, James E. Woods, Jerald Woods, John Woods; and one daughter, Margie Grace Woods.
