Donald Ray Leverich was born October 20, 1966, and died May 22, 2020 in his home in Galena, Kansas.

Don was the oldest son of (the late) Donald and Alice Leverich of rural Exeter, Missouri. He was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Don graduated kindergarten at Rocky Comfort elementary, and spent the rest of his school years at Exeter where he graduated high school in 1985. Once he graduated, he served in the Army as a military policeman from 1985 – 1989. During that time, he served a portion overseas and enjoyed touring Europe. Don then went to college, and received a bachelors of science from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg in 1993.

Don spent his professional career specializing in electronics, communications and technology systems. He worked with many businesses in and around the Joplin area. In recent years, Don had built his own business and was successful and admired for his skill and professionalism.

Don is survived by his mom, his brother David Leverich of Lebanon, Missouri; and his sister, Sherry Lotufo and brother-in-law Rob Lotufo of rural Exeter. He also has 3 nephews, Noah, Caleb and Nate Tucker. Don loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and was an avid nature photographer. His photography has been featured in magazines, including the “Show-Me the Ozarks” magazine in Joplin.

Don will be buried at Rambo Cemetery East of Rogers, Arkansas where his father and other family members are buried. Pastor Randy Comer will conduct the services. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
