ROGERS — Lonnie Jo Howle, 90, of Rogers, Ark., died July 26, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice at Bentonville, Ark. She was born June 30, 1921, in Utopia, Texas, the daughter of Edwin Elroy and Mary Maude Davenport Walters.
She was retired from Southwest Bell Telephone Company with 35 years of service and was a member of the Huntsville First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Howle, on Nov, 25, 2003; one daughter, Roberta West; one brother, Edwin Walters; and one sister, Lois Tom.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jonathon and Martha Howle of Sonora, Ark.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia and Lee Lastovica of Rogers, Ark., Mary Jo and Ernest Lastovica of Cave Springs, Ark., and Susan Howle of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Mary Sue Howard of LaVernia, Texas; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home, with the Rev. Georgia Senor officiating. Interment will be in the Rambo Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Brian Lastovica, Thomas Lastovica, Steven Lastovica, Jim Lastovica, Clint Howle and Jeremy Lastovica.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present.
