BENTONVILLE — Letitia (Lefty) June Carver, 82, of Bentonville, Ark., went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 19, 2018. She was born June 1, 1935, in Indianola, Iowa, the daughter of James Leroy Benshoof and Mabel Marie Hughes Benshoof.
She was employed by Sears as a Hearing Aid Specialist prior to her retirement. While still residing in Iowa, she was a member of the Urbandale Country Club in which she loved to golf. She also loved to garden and dance.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cullene and Jim Clayton of Bella Vista, Ark.; one sister, Marie Sarratt of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and one brother, Harry Benshoof of Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Carver; and three brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at Combs Baptist Church in Combs, Ark., on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Clayton officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
