Ethel Mae Damon, 68, of the Piney Bay Community died Monday, April 13, 2009, at her home.
She was self-employed, native of Clarksville, and daughter of the late Orland and Jewell Frost Bean.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Damon; one daughter, Sandra Avants of Houston, Texas; three sons, Rodney Pitts and wife, Lou Ann, and Steve Pitts and wife, Penny, all of Clarksville, and Bobby Pitts of Rogers; one sister, Jewell Faye Damon and husband, Jim, of Clarksville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the Lone Pine Cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Dean Wright, Jim Damon, Coy Damon, Kyn Wilson, Dale Dietz, and Keith Frost.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Noblett, Milt Stratton, Doug Duvall, Arie Green and grandsons.
