E.D. Wood., 90, formerly of the Lone Pine community passed away May 14, 2013 in the Ozark Nursing Home. He was born March 10, 1923 in Franklin County to John Wesley Wood and Elsie May Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Phyllis Cleota Corr; his sister Aileen Hester; his brothers John, Paul, and Harry; and a grandson, Tim
Watts. He was also preceded in death by a very dear and special friend, Thurman Ritchie.

He is survived by a brother, Bill Wood of Mulberry.

He is survived by four daughters: Judy (& Ted) Melton of Lamar; Charlotte (& Steve) Noyes of Coal Hill; Reba (& James) Watts of Oark; and Mary Jo Phillips of Fresno, CA.
Seven sons: Ellis Wood of Ozark; John (& Tammy) Wood of Clarksville, Carl Wood of Clarksville, Jerry Don Wood of Ola, Ray Wood of Bald Knob, Donnie (& Laura) Wood of Clarksville, and Eddie David (& Margie) Wood of Fresno, CA.

He has 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener all of his life. Through this, he helped provide for his family. His home and table was open to everyone. He loved Arkansas and the mountains here.

His lifelong profession was in cement and block work. He was of the Pentecost faith.

E.D.'s visitation will be Wednesday 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Roller-Cox funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday May 16, 2013 at Roller-Cox funeral home Chapel.

Burial will follow at lone pine cemetery with his sons and grandchildren serving as pallbearers and Allen Davis, Brian Rider, and Robert Rider serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
