Franklin Delano Patton, 83 of Clarksville, AR. passed away December 3, 2019 in Russellville, AR. Franklin was born August 2, 1936 in Hartman, Arkansas to Clomer & Faye (Edwards) Patton. Franklin served our country and retired as an Army Staff Sergeant. In 1967 he earned his license to weld, 1970 he earned his degree in air conditioning, and in 1979 he got his license to be a boiler operator. Franklin also started the first Arkansas Chapter for the NFA (National Ataxia Foundation). He was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ, the NRA and official member in the American Legion. With a positive attitude and the love for his Lord and Savior he took pride in providing for his family. He was known as a good man of high integrity, he was determined and strong-willed. Franklin enjoyment was his family, especially his grandchildren He enjoyed going with Burley Shook fishing and riding through the mountains. He is preceded in death by his parents Clomer & Faye (Edwards) Patton, wife Madia (Laugwitz) Patton, sister Clorene Jones, and son-in-law Gary Moore.
Franklin is survived by his son Patrick and wife Judy Patton of Coal Hill; daughter Tammy Moore of Clarksville; eight grandchildren: Britt Moore, Jennifer Patton, Jade Lemley, Jordan and husband Matt Nichols, Amanda and husband Tyler Hickey, Leanda and husband Brad Dodge, Austin Patton, and Brittney and husband Brandon Webb; seven great grandchildren: Britlyn Kendall, Kenzie Moore, Braden Wilcox, Kamryn Dodge, Skyler Dodge, Whitman Patton, and Kensley Webb; One brother C.C. and wife Mary Ellen Patton; brother-in-law John and wife Mary Laugwitz, and sister-in-law Betty Long; his best neighbors and Friends John and wife Mary West, and C.J. Smith of Benton, lifelong friend of the family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Lone Pine Cemetery in Clarksville.

Madia Leanda Laugwitz Patton, 73, of Clarksville died Monday, May 3, 2010, in Clarksville.
She was a daughter of the late Polly Ann Long and John Britton Laugwitz, retired employee of Clarksville Footwear, Walmart Super Center and Forrester-Davis Development Center, member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, and preceded in death by one brother, Joe Kenneth Long; and son-in-law, Gary Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin D. Patton; one daughter, Tammy Moore of Clarksville; one son, Patrick Patton and wife, Judy, of Clarksville; one brother, John Wayne Laugwitz and wife, Mary, of Clarksville; eight grandchildren, Britt Moore, Jennifer Patton, Leanda Kendall, Jade Turner, Jordan Patton, Amanda Dorrough, Brittany Patton, and Austin Patton; four great-grandchildren, Britlyn Kendall, Kenzie Moore, Braden Wilcox and Whitman Patton; sister-in-law, Betty Long Dunafan of Fort Smith; and family caregiver, Cindy Patterson of Clarksville.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, at the Lone Pine Cemetery with John Ballard and Todd Rabalais officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
