James Millard Fielding, 65, of the Gravette area died Friday, June 17, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Born July 19, 1928, at Rogers, the son of James Virgil and Lassie Leota Fields Fielding, he was a jeweler and watch maker. Fielding was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He Moved to the Gravette-Hiwasse area in 1965 from Downey, Calif., and was a member of Hiwasse American Legion Post 17.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Jane Fielding of Gravette; a son, James Millard Fielding Jr. of Bentonville; a daughter, Kimberly Annette Fielding of Gravette; two brothers, Minter Leroy Fielding of Rogers and William Carroll Fielding of Springdale; four sisters, Virginia May Colville of Gravette, Dena Iren Tipton, Wilma Leota Obenshain and Joyce Elaine Whitley, all of Rogers; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday in the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel at Gravette, with Keith Sangwin officiating. Burial is in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
