BELLA VISTA — Harold E. Bunce, 74, of Bella Vista died Feb. 15, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. He was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Wylie, Colo., to Daryl and Ruby Conley Bunce. He grew up and was educated in Wylie, Colo., and lived in Wichita, Kan., Kansas City, Mo., and Arlington, Texas. He was salesman, retiring in 1993 from Springs Window Fashions in Dallas, Texas. He and his wife traveled in a recreational vehicle for four years until moving to Bella Vista in 1997. He was a salesman for Dish Network in the Bella Vista area and was a member of Bella Vista Community Church and the Bentonville Noon Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Bunce of Bella Vista; three sons, Rick Bunce and wife Janet and Mike Bunce and wife Rose, all of Kansas City, Mo., and John Bunce and wife Ricci of Austin, Texas; two stepsons, Kenneth Mitchell of Springfield, Ill., and Brad Mitchell and wife Linda of Decatur, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Bobbie Richardson and husband Kent of Collinsville, Ill., and Jodie Waldon and husband David of Denton, Texas; one sister, Shirley Blake of Pearland, Texas; 17 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bella Vista Community Church with the Rev. Richard Lindman officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
