Inscription:
"This monument was erected by a fond mother to a memory of an affectionate husband and devoted daughter."

Proceeds of Land sale to be devoted to bringing the remains of my husband and daughter to our family burial ground at my homestead, and the erection of a marble monument over their graves after the model in the hands of my executor Dr. Charles R. Pryor.
The monument was created in St. Louis by D. Francis & Company.
