William ''Lynn'' Balkcom, 68 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Russellville. Lynn was born November 20, 1949 in Ocala, FL to Mr. Thomas and Doris (Lassiter) Balkcom.
Lynn was devoted to his faith and his Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of Christian Life Center. Lynn enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar, listening to blue grass music. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Wesley Daniel Balkcom and two brothers: Bobby and Tommy Balkcom.
Mr. Balkcom is survived by his daughter Donna Lynnett Krachey of Ozark; brother Joseph Balkcom of Russellville; five grandsons: Blake Smith of Coal Hill, William Lee Balkcom of Clarksville, Wesley Balkcom of Clarksville, Datrick Peterson of Clarksville, and Enix Talkington of Ozark; two granddaughters: Michaela Krachey of Ozark and Kallie Balkcom of Clarksville; friend Vetrice Gaitskell of Coal Hill;and a host of other family, friend and church family.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday October 18, 2018 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Balkcom's funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 19, 2018 at Christian Life Center with Bro. Larry Farris officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland cemetery.
