Carol R. Cincis, age 78, of Malvern, died Thursday evening, March 30, 2017 in the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on April 27, 1938 in Elkton, Maryland to the late Carroll Jones and Jane M. Buchannan Jones. Reared and educated in Chester, Pennsylvania, she had been a resident of Malvern since 1979. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, where she attended the Friendship Sunday School Class. Carol was an avid reader. For a number of years she served as hostess and receptionist for the J. A. Funk Funeral Home. Carol was the widow of the late Paul Cincis, to whom she was married on September 25, 1967. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2001.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Hays of Malvern, Corey and his wife, Carrie Cincis of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Tom Anderson of Virginia, and Vickie and her husband, Richard Martin of Heston, Pennsylvania; by nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Carol was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Gill.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017, at eleven o'clock, in the sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church with Reverend Dale Chance officiating.
