Lee Alderson was born on June 29, 1933 in Lamar, Arkansas to James (Roy) and Francis (Ollie) Clark Alderson. He passed away on January 18, 2020 in Hagarville, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was a timber cutter, pipeliner, worked for USSteel, and Windsor Door.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James (Son) Alderson; Raymond (Buck) Alderson; his sister, Evelyn Owens Chronister; his grandchild, Dustin Rylee; and his son-in-law, Jerry Wilson.
He is survived by his wife Vanita Jean Reynolds Alderson of the home; his son, Randy Lee Anderson (Lisa) of Clarksville, Arkansas; his daughters, Denise Crigger (Ed) of Dover, Arkansas; Vanita Lee Wilson of Knoxville, Arkansas; Evey Hollis of Clarksville, Arkansas; Margaret Childers of Van Buren, Arkansas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Holman Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Pallbearers are Dylan Rylee, Morgan Dale Wilson, Randy Alderson, Jr., David Stewart, Greg Noles, and Brad Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers are Glenn Pitts and "Mac" Clark.
