Donald Ray Whitman, 67, of Beebe, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2012. He was born to Ray and Maudie Whitman in Mountain Home, Arkansas on September 29, 1944. Donald had many passions in life, most important was his passion for preaching God's Word, which was followed closely by his love for fishing. He also loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Odette Whitman; seven children: Tracy (Dale) Sirratt, Scotty (Julie) Whitman, Rex (Patty) Whitman, Ronnie (Kim) Whitman, Charles (Karen) Whitman, Wayne (Jennifer) Whitman, Patricia (Travis) Mullins; eighteen grandchildren: Brice, Joshua, Catrina, Breanna, Cody, Matthew, Joshua, Amber, Ashley, Devin, Ryan, Daniel, Kristen, CJ, Joseph, Brent, Katlyn, and Alyssa; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda (Ed) Sellers; and a host of friends.
