Louie M. Sakis, 83, of Winslow died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at his home.
He was born May 15, 1923, in Dallas, the son of Nick J. and Vesta Collins Sakis. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Judy Ray; stepdaughter, Marsha Ann; two brothers, Calvin and Andrew; a sister, Vera Lee; and his second wife, Jean and his third wife, Ophelia.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy for more than six years in the Pacific during World War II and the Korean War. He was a bosun's mate with five Pacific invasions on mine destroyers, with several ribbons.
He is survived by his first and fourth wife, Dolores H. Sakis; two sons, Louie Michel and Louie Neal; a daughter, Annette; a stepson, John Raymond; and a large extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation was by Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com. No services are planned.

WINSLOW — Dolores H. Sakis, 87, of Winslow, Ark, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013. She was born in Montgomery, Ala., to Robert B. and Raymonde Rouiter Holifield on Dec. 23, 1925.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Louie M. Sakis; parents; and daughters, Judy Ray and Marsha Ann.
She is survived by a stepson, Lou Neal Sakis; stepdaughter, Annette Rodriguez; several grand- and great-grandchildren; and many friends in Winslow, Ark., and Dallas, Texas; and her caretaker of many years, Jackie Wade.
There will be no services.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, Ark.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 1057 Ella Road, Winslow, AR 72959.
