Barbara Lynn Byrd White, 65, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born November 11, 1942, at Little Rock, Arkansas, to Benjamin Guy and Millie Lorene Baugh Byrd, and she died Wednesday, January 16, 2008. She was a thirty-one year survivor of a kidney transplant donated by her sister, Betty. Barbara was a retired Cabot elementary school teacher. Barbara was a perfect wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her husband of forty-four years, John White; one daughter, Deborah White; one granddaughter, Morgan Carver, all of Beebe; two sisters, Betty (Eugene) Rye and Patsy (Vernon) Brannon, both of Cabot; and her mother- in-law, Mary C. White of Beebe. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2008, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with a private burial in Antioch Cemetery. Memorials may be made to ARORA, 1100 N.
