When Allen L Mckown was born on October 18, 1872, in White, Arkansas, his father, Simon, was 36 and his mother, Sarah, was 34. He married Lenna Forrest Price on December 10, 1899. They had seven children in 16 years. He died on June 9, 1943, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 70.
