Maxine H. Curd (90), ended her 18-month struggle peacefully at home, wherebshe wanted to be, on Jan. 19, 2018. She was born on Jan. 6, 1928,
to William Finis and Mexie Ruth Taylor Hembrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Vernon, and both sisters, Emigene Sheppard and Geraldine Anderson.
She is survived by daughters Verna Nell Seiler and husband Bill of Pennsylvania and Shirley LaVelle Curd of Searcy, grandchildren Scott Curd, David Brennan (Steven), Elizabeth Gaboriault and husband Gary, Andrew Seiler and wife Kim, and great-grandchildren Taylor and Rylee Curd, Tristan, Declan, and Logan Gaboriault, and Matthew, Daniel, James, and Ava Seiler.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved being a homemaker, gardening, taking care of her flowers, especially her petunias. She also loved to cook, especially her awesome chicken and dumplings and her legendary peanut butter pie. She will be dearly missed.
Interment at Weir Cemetery in McRae, Arkansas January 20, 2018.
