When George Everett Barnard and his twin sister Jennie were born on April 15, 1880, in Charleston, Arkansas, their father, James, was 37, and their mother, Louella, was 18. He had four sons and six daughters. He died on March 15, 1955, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 74.
