Funeral services for Victor Kennedy, Jr. will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop with Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. Private committal services for the family will follow at a later date. Victor Eugene Kennedy, Jr. was born December 22, 1980 in Bastrop, Louisiana and he passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Victor was an owner/operator cross-country truck driver for Prime Incorperated out of Springfield, Missouri. He was also known to many friends by his C.B. handle, "Lostcause 2599." Victor is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edgar Lee Kennedy and Roslea Hedge Kennedy; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Yount; and maternal step-grandfather, David Beavers. He is survived by his wife, Nina Ingram Kennedy and their daughters, Kaylee Janine Kennedy, Bailey Elizabeth Kennedy, and Ava Salyce Ann Kennedy all of Bastrop; his father and step-mother, Victor Eugene Kennedy, Sr. and Theresa Kennedy of Fairbanks, Louisiana; his mother and step-father, Susie Janine Yount Patton and Steve Patton of Moscow, Idaho; sister, Jimelle Elaine Kennedy Cook and her husband, Shane Cook of West Monroe; brother, Kevin Lee Kennedy of Washington state; step-brother, Michael Price of Monroe, Louisiana; step-sister, Lisa Price Burton and her husband, Glennon Burton of West Monroe, Louisiana; maternal grandmother, Jo Ann Beavers of West Monroe; sister-in-law, Stephanie Ingram Gilpatrick and brother-in-law, Derick Wayne Ingram, both of Bastrop; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him and will miss him. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop, Louisiana.
