Arthur N. Hunt, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was a loving husband and known as Uncle Art to all who knew him. He was born December 26, 1935 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Clara Hunt. Art was preceded in death by the love of his life and his wife of 50 years Judy Hunt. He was also preceded in death by his brother H.E. Hunt.
In his early life Art worked for Arkansas Electric Co-Op in Little Rock where he and Judy traveled the mid west checking meters for Rural Electric Co-Operatives. He retired from Wheatland Tube in Little Rock in 2001.
He is survived by his two sisters, Vela Hodkin of North Little Rock, Mildred Hughes of Carlisle and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Rev. Carolyn Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
