November 27, 1903 - December 14, 1976
Mrs. Elvie Gray, 73, of Rt. 2, Camden, died Tuesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church with the Rev. James E. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home of Camden. She was a member of St. James AME Church. Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Barnes of Camden and a grandchild, Mrs. Acie Patton of Toledo, Ohio. (Camden News - December 20, 1976)
