September 16, 1943 - February 14, 2011
Horace Green, Jr. of Camden was born on September 16, 1943 in Stephens, AR to Horace and Gusteva Green and passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011.
He leaves his cherished memories with his wife of 49 years, Ruby Green; his children, Horace Ray (Vanessa) Green, Richard Earl Green, Marlean (Fred) Childs, Jerry (Taresa) Green, and Tyrone (Shameka) Bush; his siblings, Bertha Lee Tillis, Helen Browning, Lena May Green, Louise Weaver, and Mary Watson. He leaves his legacy in his nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends.
He is reunited in Heaven with his parents; brothers, Leonard and Melvin Green; sister, Geneva Willis; and his daughter, Regina Green.
He was known well for his gentle caring nature, willingness to lend a helping hand and for cooking some of the best bar-b-que in Southern Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Mt. Hebron Church with burial in Patton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at Proctor Funeral Home.
