Lonnie P. Woody, 77, of Chidester died Friday, November 22, 2013 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR. Mr. Woody was born July 21, 1936 in Tuckerman, AR. He was a member of Victory Church in Camden, and a retired brick mason.
His parents, Ross and Ethyl Yancy, several brothers, and a sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Sue Woody of Chidester; three daughters, Linda Mason and husband, Tom of Marcellus, MI, Robin Leach and husband, Larry of Schoolcraft, MI, and Sherle Hounshell and husband, Lee of Conway, AR; nineteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; tow adopted children, Lisa and Bo Woody; and two stepsons, Kelsey L. Adams, and Shannon Adams and wife, Loretta all of Little Rock, AR.
Funeral services for Mr. Woody will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Victory Church with Rev. Jerry Ables officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday until service time at the church.
