Jackie Lee Gilbert, 67 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Clarksville.
Mr. Gilbert was born November 12, 1948 in Clarksville to Mr. John and Lillian (Glueck) Gilbert.
Jack enjoyed camping, floating the creek, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a journeyman carpenter for 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Bobby, Doyle, Larry, and Gary Gilbert.
Mr. Gilbert is survived by three daughters, Leetha and Brad Reynolds, Christal Gilbert-Willis, and Jacqueline and Michael Riggio all of Lamar; five grandchildren, Brennan Gilbert, Cadence Riggio, Tylee Willis, Brooklyn Riggio, and Ava Riggio; one sister, Constance Leavell of Clarksville; two brothers, John Marvin Gilbert and Victor and Brenda Gilbert all of Clarksville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Glenn Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamar Cemetery. Tyrone Willis, Michael Riggio, Ronald Hodges, Verlon Farris Jr., David Moore, and Wayne Gilbert will serve as pallbearers. Brennan Gilbert, Victor Gilbert, John M. Gilbert, Christopher Hull, Clay Gilbert, John Ashley Leavell, James Robinson, Steve Fetters, John Brown, and Verlon Farris Sr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Cox Funeral Home
