Joe Murphy Sexton Sr., 82 of Ozark, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Ozark with his loved ones by his side.
Joe was born July 9, 1936 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to Mr. Charlie and Rosie (Burdine) Sexton.
Joe was a good faithful Christian man, who loved spending his time with the love of his life Evelyn and family. He was the perfect husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and one sister.
Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife Evelyn (Keeton ) Sexton; his children: Jolene Meszko from MI, Renee Greer of AZ, Sandra Goodman of TX, Lorretta Harness of Alma, Joe Sexton Jr. of Fort Smith, Julie Steele of Coal Hill, Charles Dickinson of Malvern, Susan Johnson of Coal Hill, and Yvonne Ogdon of Fort Smith; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and other family.
Mr. Sexton’s funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday , August 8 , 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Sister Edna Burnett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lamar cemetery Robert Harness, Rob Harness, John David Webb, Ricky Webb, Mark Bankston, and Weslee Steele serving as Pallbearers.
