Troy Brewer, age 90 of Lamar, departed this life Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Countryside Manor Nursing and Rehababilitation Center. He was born January 12, 1923 at Fifty-Six, Arkansas to Jim and Samantha Ward Brewer and was a member of the Jamestown Assembly of God. He was a retired truck driver for Patterson Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes Brewe; a daughter, Ann England and nine brothers and sisters. He leaves behind one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Delinda Brewer of New Blaine, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jean and Junior Parrish of Knoxville, Arkansas, Cindy Brewer of Clarksville, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Jamestown Assembly of God officiated by the Rev. Amos Pledger and the Rev. Eric Hall. Burial will follow in Lamar Cemetery, in Lamar, Arkansas under the direction of Broussard Funeral Home of Clarksville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Broussard Funeral Home of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Steve Parrish, Rodney, Brewer, Phillip Brewer, Jeff Brewer, Mike Brewer, Bryce Parrish and Dylan Brewer.

Agnes Inez Brewer, 74, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at her home.

She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, daughter of the late Henry and Letha Fisk Lister, and was preceded in death by one sister, Ernice Boen; and one brother, L. H. Lister.

Survivors include her husband, Troy Brewer; three daughters, Jean Parrish, Ann England, and Cindy Brewer, all of Clarksville; one son, Don Brewer of Clarksville; three sisters, Bernice Boen, Inda Mae Ragsdale, and Wanda Faye Ward, all of Clarksville; one brother, E. J. Lister of Harrison; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Faith Assembly of God Church with Rev. Leon and Lesdene Ketcherside officiating.
