Dewey Wayne Scrivner was born February 10, 1961 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Sparks Health System in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 50. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris, Arkansas, and an Alumni of Paris High School and former member of the Eagles Junior High and Senior High Football Teams. He was an employee of Arkansas Valley Electric in Ozark, Arkansas and resided in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Mr. Scrivner was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lucille and Clausene Johnson; Ann and Earl Scrivner; and cousin Suzi Hoyle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife: Cindy; one daughter: Brooklyn Scrivner of Clarksville, Arkansas; one son: Rusty Curtis and wife, Sara, and granddaughter Josie, of Franklin, Ohio; his parents: Jim and Joyce Scrivner of Clarksville, Arkansas; and one brother: Nicky Scrivner of Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Roller-Cox Funeral Home for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the Chapel located 701 South Rogers Street in Clarksville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas with Reverend Clyde Vire presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are: Bruce Haney, Ted Skolarski, Lee Gray, Virgil Willis, Travis Phillips, Kevin McGuire. Honorary Pallbearers are: Noah Johnson, Kenneth Morgan, Joe Hoyle, Mike Burgess, Larry Scrivner, Dicky Scrivner.
