Linda Gayle Boggs, 79, of Van Buren, Arkansas. Linda passed away in her home on December 19, 2020 surrounded by her beloved family.
Linda, born to Allen & Dolly (Chesser) Carter, took her first breath on June 22, 1941 in the community of Spadra, Arkansas. Linda was one of 3 children, having older brothers Charles Carter & Billy Don Carter.
Linda was a natural born caregiver, living life as a career nurse, spending her final working years as a Nursing Home Administrator. When Linda retired, she devoted most of her time to her family and most of all her animals (Widget, Pippi, Daisy and Sunni Cat). Always caring for others, even during her final days. Linda was most proud of her large family and enjoyed family events, always requesting everyone to be together. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda wed Frank C. Boggs on July 26th, 1968; they were married for 39 years until Frank’s passing on November 7th, 2007.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband Frank Boggs and special daughter Marti Beavers. Linda is survived by her companion Richard Yeakley of Van Buren, AR; 4 children; Larry Boggs and wife Dixie of Cabot, AR; James Boggs and companion Brenda Hurst of Ft Smith, AR; Jack Boggs and companion Rhonda Smith of Lamar, AR; Scott Boggs of Maumelle, AR; special daughters Darla Boggs; Ruby Campbell; 15 Grandchildren; Alisha Forsman; Amber Wilson and husband John Wilson; Larry Boggs II and wife Kayla; Jessica Boggs and companion William Steward; Erik Boggs; Kyle Boggs and companion Lauren Jeffers; Brittany Holguin and husband Tyler; Parker Boggs; Peyton Boggs; Kevin Abbott and wife Alexis; Blake Abbott and wife Amber; Colton Abbott; Jody Wood; Tia Swimmer; Jon Foresman 14 Great Grandchildren; Londyn Cacy; Grayson Boggs; Taison Saelo; William Steward; Kendrick Steward; Austin Ty Wilson; Colton Wilson; Caden Wilson; Cooper Wilson; Carsten Abbott; Michael Abbott; Aron Swimmer; Jadon Swimmer; Cristin Swimmer
Services will be held in Lamar, Arkansas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of Linda’s preferred charities, she always found a way to give back each month, not a single month went by that she did not donate to one of these charities.
