William Leon Holt was born in Knoxville, Arkansas on October 17, 1934 to William Jefferson Holt and Susie Florence Holt Wallender. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 4, 2020 at the age of 85. He was an Airforce Veteran, a member of the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church, and a farm foreman at the University of Arkansas Experiment Station.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Letta Mae Ward Holt; his grandchild, Jacob Squire Leon Clayborn; and his sister, Helen Sartor.

He is survived by his sons Randy Wayne Holt and Gene Holt of Lamar, Arkansas; his daughters, Deborah Kathleen (Kathy) Clayborn and husband, Danny of Lamar, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Bridget Nichols and husband, David; Leta Clayborn and husband, Rick Miller; Kristie and Robbie Reed; Amy Hull; Kerri Holt; Vanessa Brown; eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend Kyle Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas. Pallbearers are David Nichols, Josh Smith, Dwight Cowell, Rick Fox, Mychael Roberts, and Guy Tate. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Duff, George Higby, Clinton Holland, and Claude Woodard.

Letta Mae Holt, 67, of Lamar died Tuesday, August 17, 2004, in her home. She was born April 13, 1937, in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a retired certified nurse's aide and a member of Mount Vernon Community Church.

Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Vernon Community Church with burial at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, two sons, two sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, a stepgrandchild, six great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
