Lawrence “Larry” Lee Selby, 69 of Lamar, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Russellville. Mr. Selby was born, July 22, 1947 in Berkeley, CA. to Mr. Ralph “Joe” and Dorothy (Woods) Selby. Larry was a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years; he also served as an auxiliary deputy sheriff, and was security Sargent for C&H Sugar. Larry was dedicated to his family, he was a practical joker, and was a very proud grandfather, loving husband, and father. Mr. Selby is preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Charles and Billy Joe; one brother in law Wayne Knief.

Mr. Selby is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Lois” (Oxford) Selby; his mother, Dorothy Selby; daughter Michelle and Chris Tuley; daughter, Marcia and Matt Brown; son, Jason Blevins; daughter, Michele and Jack Wilson; and son, Dale and Angela Blevins; one sister, Dottie Knief; two sister in laws, Rose Selby, and Wanza Heard; twelve grandchildren, Deaton Wilson, Gavin and Laura Wilson, Cameron Selby-Swint, Sandra Tuley, Tyler Brown, Cortney Tuley, Harley Blevins, Maximus Swint, Madison Brown, Lucas Brown, Seth Wilson, and Jacob Wilson; and one great-grandchild on the way, Zandey Wilson.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bob Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamar Cemetery.
