FAYETTEVILLE — Virginia Lea Roberts, age 69, a resident of Katherine's Place in Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 4, 1948, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Henry and Sarah Mae (Caudle) Drain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters, Joshe, Joan, Joe, Freddy, Franklin and Joyce Drain and Janice Yates; one grandson, Dalton "DJ" Lacey; her husband, Michael Roberts.
Survivors include one daughter, Danielle Huff and husband Frank; and one son, Mitchell "Sonny" Lacey and wife Julie; two brothers, James David Drain and wife Linda and Allen Drain and wife Evelyn; five grandchildren, Alicia Bell, Ashton Finfrock, Tira Welk, Braiden Lacey and Jacob Lacey; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Woolsey Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held.
