Charles Roosevelt Wood Jr, 64 of Lamar, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Lamar.

Charles was born July 24, 1952 in Clarksville to Charles Roosevelt & Margrie Delfin (Holland) Wood.

Charles Enjoyed playing the guitar, he loved his dogs peanut & melody, spending time at the cabin. He Worked at the piggly wiggly for 15 years, and retired from Lamar Post yard


Mr. Wood was proceeded in death by parents, one brother Ernie Lee Wood.


Charles is survived by his wife Sandra (Estep) Wood of the home; Son: Aaron Wood; two grandsons; brothers John Wayne & Carol Wood of London, AR, Fred & Michelle Wood of Springdale, AR, Paul & Marcia Wood of St Michaels, MD; and numerous extended family and many friends.

Mr. Wood’s Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Church of God with Rev. Phil Reading & Rev Joe Lancaster officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt Vernon Cemetery with Dale Wood, Jeff Wood, Kevin Wood, Jared Wood, Trent Wood, and Rick Criss serving as Pallbearers. Jeremy Wood, Logan Wood, Dylan Wood, Drake Backus, Ty Wood, and Trevor Wood will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
