CLARKSVILLE — Dorothy F. MORGAN, 95, of Clarksville died Sunday, Sept. 7, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 25, 1908, at Beaumont, Texas, she was the daughter of the late George Fecel Sr. and Lena Wilder Fecel, widow of Berney MORGAN, and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Mount Vernon Extension Homemakers Club and First Presbyterian Church. She had lived in Houston, Texas, 50 years before moving to Clarksville in 1987. While in Houston, she was a member of Current Study Club and Sunset Terrace Garden Club.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, George and Kate MORGAN of Santa Fe, N.M.; a daughter, Barbara MORGAN Ekblad of Clarksville; a brother, George Fecel Jr. of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Elizabeth Allen of Houston, Texas, and Patricia Kirby of Swanee, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Russell Ekblad of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Michael B. Ekblad of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Eric Ekblad of Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Hardwicke Chapel by the Rev. Lance Jones. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery by Hardwicke Funeral Service
