Laudell Fetters was born on December 18, 1936, in Lamar, Arkansas, to the late Loyd and Inez (Childres) Fetters. He died on January 29, 2009, at his home in Clarksville, at the age of 72. He was member of the Clarksville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Laudell leaves behind his wife, Betty, of Clarksville; one daughter, Lisa Sanez, of McAllen, Texas; two sons, Daniel Fetters, of Germany, and Dennis Fetters, of Fort Riley, Kansas; four sisters, Willa Faye Hutchins, of Clarksville, Arkansas, Arnetta Scruggs, of Mississippi, Cathy Denn, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Brenda Gilbert, Clarksville, Arkansas; four brothers, Earl Fetters, of Lamar, Arkansas, Curtis Fetters, of Clarksville, Arkansas, Steve Fetters, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Joe Fetters, of Clarksville, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Laudell is preceded in his death by his parents, Loyd and Inez (Childres) Fetters; three sisters, Ruby Holman, Mary Woodard, and Linda Hutchins; and a son, James Dean Killough.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2009, at the Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel, in Clarksville, with Brother Melvin Bankhead officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, in Clarksville.

Casket Bearers will be Travis Fetters, Lance Fetters, Jonathan Fetters, Dustin Fetters, Wesley Fetters, David Bostwick, William Smith, Brian Fetters, Wendell Woodard, and Jerry Woodard.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Jimmy Hutchins, Charles McCarley, Norman Smith, Arron Arnold, and Freddy Freeman.

All arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville (479) 754-2201.
