LAMAR — Charles "Blackie" Key, 91, of Lamar died Friday, April 3, 2009, at a hospital in Clarksville. He was born Sept. 2, 1917, in Denning. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a production worker with Hanford Co. He attended Lighthouse Christian Center in Clarksville.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie; four step-daughters, Alma Holt and Myrna DeForest, both of Lamar, Linda White of Clarksville and Betty Killough of Knoxville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
