FIELDING, Letty J. KELLY - (from Pleasant Ridge) Miss Letty J. Kelly was born in Chillicothe, Mo. Sept. 27, 1868 where she spent her childhood, coming to Rogers in 1881 where she met and married J.M. Fielding Aug. 26, 1888. She passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1926, aged 57 years, 3 months and 29 days, after a month's illness of paralysis. She leaves eight children and 11 grand children and a host of friends to mourn their loss. Many years ago she united with the Christian church and was faithful unto the end. She has lived near Rogers for 44 years and her unassuming and upright life endeared her to her friends and neighbors. Mrs. Fielding was loved by all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Aaron Paris who was an old schoolmate of the deceased. Her remains were laid to rest in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. J.M. Fielding died at her home east of Rogers January 25th. Mrs. Fielding was born in Missouri 57 years ago and was for more than 45 years a citizen of this community. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home, Rev. Paris of Rogers conducting them. Burial was made in Rogers cemetery. Surviving her are eight children: Mrs. May Martin and Lot Fielding of Quay, Okla.; Jay,Virgil, Roy, Iona, Hattie and Beatrice Fielding, all of Rogers.
