Peter John Listy, 70, of Bella Vista, died July 21, 2015. He was born to Walter and Estella (Hornung) Listy in Sycamore, IL on June 15, 1945.
Pete moved to Bella Vista in October 2014 to be with his son and daughter-in-law. He was a sheet metal worker out of #219 Union Hall in Rockford, Illinois before retiring. Spending time with grandchildren, fishing and watching NASCAR were his favorite retirement activities.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gerald Listy.
He is survived by his son Scott Listy (Teresa) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his daughter Denise Hester (Mike) of Carol Stream, Illinois; a brother Gene Listy (Joyce) of Sycamore, Illinois and a sister-in-law Pam Listy of DeKalb, Illinois and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Veterans National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
