Peggy DeLaughter, 83, of Little Rock, Ark., died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Peggy was born May 30, 1929, in Big Springs, Texas, to the late Mack and Willie Earley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Nolan DeLaughter; and daughter-in-law, Cylinda DeLaughter. Peggy was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She was very involved with American Business Women's Association, joining in 1983 and serving one time as president. She was also a member of AARP Chapter 1239. She is survived by daughter, Linda Mixon and husband, Jerry, of Nacogdoches, Texas; sons, Dan DeLaughter of Little Rock, and Phillip DeLaughter and wife, Pam, of Conway, Ark.; brother, Joe Earley and wife, Debbie, of Tatum, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Ceccacci, Chris Keith, Tyler Keith, Charity DeLaughter, Trinity Luccketta, Heather Rust, Kevin DeLaughter and Melanie DeLaughter; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Ron Riddle. Burial will follow at Chidester Cemetery, Chidester, Ark.
