September 10, 1964 - November 15, 2019
Richard Edward Cruse, 55, died Friday, November 15, 2019. He was born September 10, 1964 in Houston, TX to Cecil Ray and Francis Ruth Dupree Singleton Cruse. Richard’s favorite things were hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ray Cruse. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Cruse; three sons, Randy Cruse (Sam), Matthew Lee Cruse and Richard Cruse; four daughters, Brendi Cruse, Rebecca Corn (David), Megan Cruse and Carmen Callison; three brothers, Roger Dale Cruse, Otis Doyle Cruse and Danny Joe Swain; a sister, Patricia Ann Verguson; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Services will be held 2:00 Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Proctor Funeral Home followed by interment at Chidester Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
