Sanford McAdoo, 59, of West Fork died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at his home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1947, in West Fork, the son of Ray and Wathena Hammond McAdoo. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray McAdoo, and a nephew, Jerod Kiley Boyd.
He was employed by Cooper Power Systems, Kearney Operation, with 37 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy McAdoo of West Fork and Owen Ray McAdoo and his wife Chrissi of West Fork; a daughter, Cindy McAdoo Franklin of West Fork; his mother, Wathena McAdoo of West Fork; a brother, Deon McAdoo of West Fork; two sisters, Carlene Paulk and her husband Bob of West Fork and Susan Boyd and her husband Jerry of West Fork; five grandchildren, Kelsey Franklin, Ragen Franklin, Riley Franklin, Brenna McAdoo and Conner McAdoo; a niece, Whitney Boyd.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 24 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at mooresfuneralchapel.com. Harry Gibson will officiate.
Burial will be in Zinnamon Cemetery at West Fork.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Moore's.
