Chris Allan Nicholson, age 88, of Hattieville, passed away, Sunday, November 15, 2009. He was born October 29, 1921 in Hattieville, Arkansas, a son of Note A. and Mattie Harris Nicholson. He was a dairy farmer and of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Wilma Lee Hill Nicholson; children, Richard A. Nicholson and wife Marilyn of Hattieville, Diane Nicholson Shockley and husband Ronald of Morrilton, and Ben Nicholson and wife Bette of Hattieville; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Chris was also preceded in death by three sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Larry Miller and Bro. Bob Holyfield officiating. Burial will be at Vinson Chapel Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, at the funeral home.
