E.R. "Dick" Hilton, 83, of Clarksville, died February 15, 2014. He was born March 18, 1930, in Clarksville, to the late Charles E. Hilton and Bertha (Mertens) Hilton. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Hilton; and two sons, Mark Edward Hilton and Russell A. Hilton.
Dick is survived by a daughter, Francie Kenner of Clarksville; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
There will be a Rosary with visitation following at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, with Fr. William Wewers celebrating the mass.
Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tom Kremers, Pat Hilton, Daniel Burnett, Tristan Einert, Tyler Holt and Robert Hilton.
Frank Hilton, David McKinney and Gene Dahlem will assist at the funeral mass.
*Obituary - Georgia Ann Hilton
Georgia Velte Hilton, 78, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Johnson Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Beatrice Hoyt Velte.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and a former nurse for Johnson County Hospital.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Russell and Mark Hilton.
She is survived by her husband, Edward R. Hilton; one daughter, Francie Kenner of Lamar; three brothers, Carl Velte of Fort Smith, Gale Velte of Conway and Charles Velte of Clarksville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father William Wewers, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery.
