George Patrick Dailey, 72, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home.
He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late George and Patricia Ryan Dailey, graduate of St. Edwards High School in Cleveland, Ohio, member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus No. 5725, and Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree at Fort Smith, and organizer of Shop with a Cop.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Wanda Dailey; one daughter, Terri Yarbrough and husband, David, of Clarksville; two sons, Greg Dailey and wife, Julie, of Aurora, Colo., and Rick Dailey and wife, Heather, of Clarksville; two sisters, Patty Blum of Lakewood, Ohio, and Meg Frolich of Madina, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Chris and Megan Dailey, Kallie Cooper, Ashley and Kacy Yarbrough, and Arie and Zane Dailey; and one great-grandchild, Hunter Dailey.
Rosary service was at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father William Wewers officiating. The body was cremated. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
